HFMVA operates two standard-duty Type-III ambulances:

  • 5619 is a 2002 PL Custom ambulance module mounted to a Ford E-350 frame
    PL Custom ambulance on Ford E-350 chassis

  • 5629 is a 2009  PL Custom ambulance Medallion 170 mounted to a Ford E-450 frame
    1998 Horton on Ford E-350 chassis

HFMVA also operates two first-response units:

  • Medic 56 is an Advanced Life Support fly car, based on a 2005 Ford Expedition XLT
    Ford Expedition XLT with emergency vehicle upfitting by AutoCrafting
  • Defib 59 is a Basic Life Support fly car, based on a 1998 police-configuration Ford Expedition
    Ford Police Package Expedition

HFMVA BLS and ALS units carry an array of modern patient care equipment, including:

  • Physio-Control Lifepak 12 cardiac monitors/defibrilators with built-in capnography
  • Vite-Aid Boussignac Oxygen-powered CPAP systems
  • Nonin pulse oximiters
  • Laerdal LSU portable power suction units
